 Prevention Specialist

Wendy received a B.S. in Sociology from Augsburg College in 1995.  She is a Child of a Deaf Adult and is a native signer of American Sign Language.  She is a nationally certified interpreter and has been interpreting professionally for over 20 years.  She is a former Minneapolis Police Officer and is the founder of Community Solutions: Crime Prevention and Safety for People who are Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, and DeafBlind.   This program focuses on the safety of people in the Deaf Community, as well as the education of law enforcement personnel.  She is also the former Program Coordinator of the Minnesota Employment Center for People who are Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing (MEC).

Christine Marble, B.A., CI/CT

Christine (Chris) received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota in 1989 and an A.A.S. from St. Paul College, Interpreter/Transliterator Program in 1997.  She is a co-founder of Employment Endeavors, LLC, and is a nationally certified sign language interpreter.  She works as a freelance interpreter, video relay interpreter and is an adjunct faculty member of St. Paul College where she teaches classes on video relay interpreting, working as an Occupational Communication Specialist (OCS), and Voice to Sign Interpreting.  Chris has also served on a national task force which plans to develop a best practices manual for OCSes.  She has provided presentations at the national level on a variety of employment related topics.

Maryann White, NIC

Maryann (Mary) is a co-founder of Employment Endeavors, LLC and has worked as a community freelance interpreter, video relay interpreter, OCS and as a Vocational Communication Specialist with the State of Minnesota, Department of Economic and Employment Development, Rehabilitation Services Division.   Mary has an A.A.S. degree from St. Paul College, Interpreter/Transliterator Program, 1995.  She has provided presentations to interpreters and vocational rehabilitation personnel at the national level.
